Coaching Staff. |
Established in 2019This team was formed to train and empower young athletes, through the teachings of some of the most competitive coaches, some who still compete to this day.
Our coaches will train and race alongside our athletes to continuously motivate them to improve. We feel that it is important to have coaches that practice what they preach, and our team does. It is hard to motivate an athlete by simply telling them what to do. Our staff not only will show and demonstrate, they will row with them; allowing our coaches to truly know what is going on both inside and outside the boats. |
Our GoalOur goal, as a team, is to create the perfect environment in order for our rowers to become the most well-rounded athletes; dependable, coach-able, versatile, positive, and an overall team player. Colleges and universities look for these attributes in their own athletes, so we are looking to instill them now. It is statistically known that 1 in every two female rowers. who apply, receives a full or partial athletic scholarship. That's 50%! For men, rowing has the highest scholarship opportunities as well. This is a big opportunity which many student athletes are missing out on, and we are here to remedy that.

Coach Nour Ettaieb |
Coach Nour Ettaieb began her rowing career with her twin brother in Tunisia, from a very young age. Rowing has become her passion and her life from the moment she started. Taking every challenge head on in the lightweight rowing world, she fought her way to becoming not just a world champion, but an olympic rower representing her home country. She competed in the 2016 Brazil and 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Thankfully Coach Nour's efforts brought her to the United States to row at Florida Institute of Technology on scholarship, which lead her to us. Her focus, skill, and champion mindset brings an incredible element to our team that makes it impossible to compare to any other.

Coach Jason Bersani |
Coach Jason Bersani, the newest addition to our coaching staff has blown all our rowers away with his incredible insight and passion for this sport. His focus with our rowers is to train the right way, not the hard way, as he teaches them to listen to their bodies and follow designated heart rate zones for each age to avoid overtraining and injuries.

Coach Kaitlyn Jackson |
Coach Kaitlyn Jackson, only a senior in high school, has distinguished herself as an incredible coach from the moment she was given the opportunity. She began rowing at Space Coast Crew in their middle school program, when she reached out to Coach Danielle Kammerer for sculling lessons before United Sculling Alliance was even a thought. Coach Danielle worked with her throughout the entire summer, and took her to a competition, where she placed 2nd overall in the girls 1X. After that moment Coach Kaitlyn continued her sweep rowing career at Space Coast Crew, until she became injured. She remained as a middle school Coach teaching the methods of Coach Danielle Kammerer to all her young rowers. Once United Sculling Alliance(USA) was created, Coach Kaitlyn moved to Coach with us. Her love and kindness to our elementary and middle schoolers builds their confidence early on to be prepared for future competition.
